形態特徵

Annual ascending herbs, to 170 cm tall; stems much branched, often reddish, strigose and glandular; nodes enlarged.
Leaves lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, 5–9.5 cm long, 1.5–2.5 cm wide, apex acuminate to caudate, base cuneate to narrowly cuneate, both surfaces pilose, veins strigose, lower surface glandular; petioles 0.1–0.3 cm long; ocreae tubular, 1–1.5 cm long, apex truncate, strigose, glandular, upper margins ciliate.
Inflorescences 2–4-flowered fascicles in spike-like panicles, terminal or axillary, interrupted, to 18 cm long; peduncles glabrous to pilose; bracts weakly oblique funnel-form, glabrous, upper margins ciliate. Flowers white to red; pedicels included; perianth segments 5, elliptic, 2–2.5 mm long, glandular, apex obtuse; stamens 8; styles 3-cleft, included; nectaries present.
Achenes dark brown to black, trigonous, punctate, not shining, 2–2.5 mm long.

分布

台灣 : at low altitudes, in wet places and ditches.
世界 : India, Bhutan, Sikkim, China (S, SW, C & E), Korea, Japan, the Ryukyus, Malaysia and Australia.
